The Singapore Compact for CSR functions as a national society in furthering the CSR movement in Singapore. It is a multi-stakeholder platform in welcoming and recognizing the important role and contributions of stakeholders with the following key objectives:
| i. | broaden the base for dialogue and collaboration between policy makers, businesses, trade unions, the government, social partners, civil society, academics and other stakeholders on CSR; | |
| ii. | create awareness among the stakeholders the value and importance of social re sponsibility in helping the socially disadvantaged; | |
| iii. | develop effective strategies and approaches to promote CSR in Singapore; | |
| iv. | conduct research and surveys and highlight best practices and successful examples on CSR; | |
| v. | establish a CSR Training Unit and offer learning, benchmarking, and capacity building opportunities on CSR; and | |
| vi. | facilitate the implementation and follow up of CSR through sectoral networks or other appropriate groupings |
